Proudly based in Barharia, Siwan, Bihar, Radio Hotstar has grown from a small independent streaming station into one of the most listened-to online radio stations serving listeners across India and around the world.
Our Beginnings
Radio Hotstar was founded with a simple but powerful idea: Bihar deserves a world-class online radio experience. While major cities were well served by FM radio stations and internet radio, music lovers in smaller towns and cities — in Siwan, Barharia, Gopalganj, and throughout the region — had the same passionate love for Bollywood music as anyone in Mumbai or Delhi, but lacked a dedicated platform that spoke to them and for them.
The founders of Radio Hotstar decided to change that. Using professional broadcasting technology and a dedication to genuine quality, they created a station that could serve listeners across Bihar and anywhere in the world where Indian music was loved.
Building the Team
A radio station is only as good as its team, and Radio Hotstar has been fortunate to find extraordinary talent in RJ Aman and RJ Vanshika — both of whom bring authentic passion for music, genuine connection with listeners, and the warm, personal presentation style that defines great community radio. The technical team, led by developer Hemnth, has built the digital infrastructure that makes Radio Hotstar available across all platforms: website, Android app, Amazon Alexa, and major radio directories worldwide.
